Orran's annual banquet was held in Glendale, California in October.  The speaker of the day was Serj Tankian, a long time friend of Orran. Four years ago,  Serj and his wife Angela started Orran's soup kitchen program  for the elderly in Vanadzor and have continuously contributed to Orran's mission of helping families in need.  Among the speakers was also Angela Sarafyan who had visited Orran and shared her impressions of its good work.  Close to $150,000 was raised to help Orran to carry out its mission of helping families in need.
