With the aim of proper organization of the Last School Bell event on May 27, the heads of the administrative districts, the Municipality Department of General Education and the Department of Culture were assigned by the Mayor to carry out corresponding activities and to report on the results.

Taron Margaryan instructed to set rigid control in schools to exclude cases of money collection related to the end of the school year. The Mayor also stressed that in case of revelation of such cases the persons in charge would be punished.

«School leaving is an awaited and important event for school leavers and their parents. On these days parents enjoy the success of their children, think of their future plans and not to worry how to get money for some unexplainable costs so as their child wouldn’t feel odd before teachers and classmates.

Every year, prior to the Last School Bell event and school leaving examinations I call school headmasters to exclude any case of money collection. I instruct the Department of General Education to remind headmasters of my call otherwise they will be punished up to dismissal. warn parents not to collect money. Together we must eradicate such a vicious phenomenon», said Taron Margaryan.

Departments of Culture and Tourism, of External Design and Advertising have been instructed to get prepared to the Day of the First Armenian Republic. Mayor Taron Margaryan also instructed to draw up the program of events «Yerevan summer».
