During the meeting held on September 13 the Council of Elders of Yerevan approved of the decision on gratuitous alienation of 6 Yerevan community-owned flats in the new-built block of flats at 6/1 and 15 Shinararneri street to 6 families living in the building of the 4th grade of accident rate at 3,Sisakyan street which is to be dismantled. So, in fact the housing problem of the residents of the mentioned-above damaged building has been solved. Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan once again reminded that the program is not aimed at the improvement of housing conditions and is a compensating program within the scope of which instead of damaged flats the residents are given new flats of equivalent area.
The rest of the items on the agenda were also improved by the Council of Elders.
The next meeting of the Council of Elders is scheduled for October 26.
