Yerevan Municipality jointly with “Nashot tour” company and within the frames of “Yerevan summer 2016” three-month program of events has organized an evening of choral art. Multi-genre music was performed by Gospel Singers choir from Grenoble (France). The concert was called “For you,Yerevan”.

The choir which also included some Armenians was founded about 15 years ago. It consists of more than 100 amateur and professional singers of various nationalities aged 20-70. Especially for Yerevan concert a song from the repertoire of the world famous French Armenian chansonnier Charles Aznavour was performed. Besides, a song in Armenian and spiritual music translated from French into Armenian were performed.

The head of Yerevan Municipality Department of Culture and Tourism Ruben Hovhannisyan noted that the preparations for the concert of the choir in Yerevan started in spring and today the idea have already been implemented within the frames of “Yerevan summer 2016”program presenting the townspeople and the guests of the capital one more beautiful event. The art director and founder of the choir Franklin Akoa assured that though the choir has significant experience of concert touring they were preparing for the concert in Armenia with high responsibility. During the interval of the concert the pupils of the municipal music school after Anoushavan Ter-Ghevondyan performed their music works. The spectators watching the concert said that they greatly enjoyed the wonderful concert which last about 2 hours.
