Arthur Alexanyan, a Greco-Roman wrestler representing Armenia in the 2016 Rio Olympics, won gold in the final round on Tuesday.
The sportsman won the world champion's title after beating Cuba’s Lugo Cabrera 3-0.
It was Armenia’s first Olympic gold in the past 20 years. In the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Armen Nazaryan became a world champion in the 52 kg Greco-Roman wrestling matches.
