During the regular working meeting Mayor Taron Margaryan instructed to make preparations and take necessary measures to provide uninterrupted work of energy, water and gas supply during Christmas holidays.

During the meeting it was reported that the activities carried out within the frames of loan programs are going on in accordance with the schedule. The Mayor instructed to inform the public about the process and the results of those programs regularly.

«Today Yerevan Municipality is carrying out some large credit programs which are of big significance for the capital. Moreover, realization of these programs has been expected for years. Everything is done to provide better conditions for the residents. Therefore, our residents should always be aware of the projects being realized by the Municipality of Yerevan», said Taron Margaryan.

Regarding the prevention and elimination of the consequences of illegal construction and land occupation it was reported that the previous week 2 cases had been revealed and administrative reports had been drawn up. At one location the illegal construction was dismantled. During the same period 12 cases of violation were revealed as a result of the control over illegal street vending in the capital. Related to revelation and prevention of trash dumping in inappropriate places it was reported that 44 reports had been drawn up the previous week. Mayor Taron Margaryan instructed the persons in charge to strengthen the control and to inform the public about the penalties provided for waste dumping in inappropriate places.

Mayor Taron Margaryan also instructed to take steps toward proper organization and holding of the New Year and Christmas festive events in the administrative districts of the capital.
